Company Description

Apple Inc. is a leading American multinational tech company that designs, develops, manufactures, and sells consumer electronics, software, and cloud services.
Founded in 1976, Apple started as a manufacturer of computers. During this period, Apple introduced innovative graphical user interfaces. While the late 1980s and 1990s had been rough for the company, Apple rebounded as its founder, Steve Jobs, returned. Currently, Apple is one of the most profitable tech companies in the world. It is the world's largest technology company by revenue and enjoys one of the highest market valuations.

Products & Services

Apple's consumer products include the iPhone smartphone, the iPad tablet, the Mac series of personal computers, and the Apple  Watch smartwatch, etc.
In recent years, Apple has emphasized its iCloud cloud computing service. Unlike major cloud players such as Amazon (AWS), Microsoft (Azure), and Google (GCP), Apple integrates iCloud to the Apple ecosystem and targets consumers rather than businesses.
Apple is also extending into the automotive industry by way of autonomous driving and Apple-branded smart devices.
