Like the 2020 model, the new Legion 5 17" is fronted with a FHD IPS display, which can be optioned with either a 60Hz or a 144Hz panel with 72% coverage of the NTSC color space. The display also supports Dolby Vision.
New in 2021 is the Nahimic 3D Audio by SteelSeries, which improves upon the previous Harmon speakers for a more engaging listening experience.
Alongside the 17" Legion 5, Lenovo also refreshed the 15" model at CES 2021.
Other Legion models unveiled at the same time include the redesigned 16" Legion 5 Pro, 16" Legion 7, and 15" Legion Slim 7. All models are powered by AMD, with Intel models to be unveiled at a later date.
