Voigtlander Nokton 35mm F1.2 aspherical SE lens is a compact prime lens with an ultra-bright f/1.2 maximum aperture for Sony's E-mount mirrorless system. Made exclusively of glass and metal, the 35mm F1.2 offers a supreme manual focus experience, while electrical contacts transmit EXIF information to the camera.
The SE designation for this lens means that the lens is optimized for stills ("Still Edition") by removing the declicking mechanism for the aperture ring.
Last but not least, the f/1.2 aperture and the 12-blade aperture lend unique characters to this lens.

Reviewer score 76%The Voigtlander 35mm F1.2 SE shows a moderate degree of moustache distortion. Sharpness wide open is only good in the center and not at closer distances. Vignetting is still quite noticeable at over 2 stops at f/2 and vignetting stays above 1.5 stops even stopped down to f/8.0. At closer distances very smooth, no complaints.

Reviewer score 77%The focus ring is easy to use with adequate level of dampening and with stops for the minimum focusing distance and the infinity. The focus rings rotate by circa 180° from 30 cm to infinity The focusing distance is visible in the visor in real time, which is quite handy for this type of lens. Aperture ring has clicks for each 1/3 stops and there is no switch to make it clickless.
