Product Overview

Voigtlander Nokton 35mm F1.2 III VM is a large-aperture prime lens for the M-mount. Compared to the Mark II of this lens and the E-mount variant (in original or SE guise), the Nokton 35mm F1.2 III VM is remarkably small and light, measuring just over 50mm in overall length with a 52mm filter thread, despite its f/1.2 maximum aperture.
Voigtlander achieved this feat, while the lens retains its rangefinder coupling for the M bayonet. The new packaging allows the 35mm Nokton III to be an even greater option for street photography and reportage as well as for night photography.
As is the case with all Nokton lenses, the 35mm F1.2 III VM features a full metal-glass construction. It has a beautiful knurled focus ring that makes fine focus adjustments easier.
At just over €1000 MSRP, the Nokton 35mm F1.2 III VM is a much more affordable alternative to any Noctilux. It offers Zeiss-grade optical quality as well as build and handling and can be a compelling option for rangefinder shooters who appreciate value.
