Apple has redesigned its proprietary mapping and navigation app, Maps, with faster and more accurate navigation and comprehensive views of roads and points of interest, making it easier and more enjoyable to use. It has rolled out in the US in January 2020 and will roll out in Europe soon.
Apple Maps is deeply embedded into the Apple ecosystem, powering users on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch as well as in the car with Apple CarPlay. It is integrated into most popular apps where the location is of interest, including Photos, Messages, Calendar, Weather, and more. With Apple's MapKit and MapKit JS, Maps is also seamlessly integrated into many popular third-party apps.
