Deep Fusion should enable unsurpassed detail-rich photos even in difficult lighting conditions. The Galaxy Note 10 Plus and the iPhone 11 Pro Max are among the best smartphones you can buy at the moment. Apple prides itself on having created the most powerful smartphone chip with the A13 Bionic. Samsung, on the other hand, can score points with the S-Pen as well as with the option to have the Galaxy Note10 Plus up and running on 5G networks.

The Pro Max runs rather hot even when idling, with surface temperatures peaking around 35 °C on some areas of the device. The large display and stereo speakers deliver an engrossing gaming experience.

Reviewers from notebookcheck have found the following***:
The iPhone 11 Pro comes with an A13 Bionic SoC, just like every other device in the iPhone 11 series. The hexa-core SoC features two performance cores and four power-saving cores, which Apple complements with 4 GB of RAM. Activating True Tone will result in a warmer-looking image, but without any colour distortion. The included headphones are solid companions at best, but they will not blow anyone away.

  • Bright and contrast-rich OLED display
  • Fast SoC
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Display could be brighter

t3[8]

Reviewers from t3 have found the following***:
Apple has improved wireless connectivity across the board here. An extra Bluetooth antenna gives longer range, which is great for headphones and Apple Watch – we've seen the connections for both last clearly longer distances. There's no 5G, but we never expected there to be – Apple waits for new tech like this to settle down a little before it includes it. If you have an iPhone numbered 8 or lower, I think this is the perfect time to upgrade generally.

Pros
  • Bigger screen
  • Bigger and better cameras

Cons
  • No 5G
  • No headphone jack

Apple's Portrait feature is better than ever, with a high-exposure mode to create more studio-like photos. The iPhone 11 Pro will visually suggest enhancements as you shoot, such as a better angle, focus or camera mode. Apple has put a lot of effort into improving the speaker performance of the 11 Pro through the introduction of spatial audio with support for Dolby Atmos.

iPhone 11 Pro Max is a bigger version of the iPhone 11 Pro, which is a superb phone. If you're already used to the size of Apple's plus-sized handsets, this will be right up your street. For many people the 5.8in screen of its smaller sibling more than suffice in a more manageable package. It just has the edge in terms of image quality, and you need to be serious about photography in order to take full advantage.

Cons
