Product Overview

Samsung QN95A Neo QLED 4K TV is the flagship option in Samsung's 2021 Neo QLED lineup. It adds a slim One Connection box and removes most of the connections from the main TV unit but is otherwise identical to the QN90A.
Like the QN90A and other models in the new Neo QLED range introduced at CES 2021, the QN95A enjoys Quantum Mini LED backlight controlled by Quantum Matrix and Neo Quantum Processor to offer even higher dynamic range and richer color reproduction.
Samsung's Quantum Mini LED measures just 1/40th of the height of a conventional LED. Rather than using a lens to disperse light, it simply packs a large number of Mini LEDs in the backlight matrix. The result is dramatically finer control. Combined with 12-bit, 4096-step luminance control, Neo QLED elevates the HDR experience to a new level.
Like premium QLED TVs of the past, the QN95A enjoys 100% DCI-P3 coverage, anti-reflection coating, and ultra-wide viewing angle. It further adds 60W 4.2.2-channel audio system, reducing the need of a sound bar.

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from t3 have found:
The QN95A is fitted with Samsung's Neo Quantum Processor 4K, which is a refinement of the AI-assisted engine the company introduced last year. The constant motion of broadcast sport is controlled with assurance, and the great swathes of uniform colour are detailed and differentiated. With no Dolby Atmos decoding on board, it's up to the TV to interpret the more 3D elements of sound.
    Pros
    • Superb picture quality
    • Superb remote control
    Cons
    • No Dolby Atmos
    • No HDR10+

    Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
, clean and richly textured. The set’s enhanced contrast seems to add a touch more definition, too, while its colour management is subtle enough to combine the pure sharpness with complementary levels of colour subtlety. The new, more advanced level of AI Samsung has thrown at the upscaling process results in a remarkable combination of greatly enhanced detail and outstandingly reduced source noise. It carries a 4.2 channel arrangement, with 70W of total power.
    Pros
    • Superb contrast and sharpness
    • Superb upscaling system
    • Impressive HDR performance
    Cons
    • Some backlight blooming in FreeSync mode
    • No Dolby Vision support

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from whathifi have found:
The QN95A combines near-OLED black levels and fabulously vibrant colours with an effortless sense of naturalism. It's the best, most app-packed operating system in the business and has a full set of HDMI sockets (a lack of Dolby Vision support aside) Samsung has thrown down the gauntlet in emphatic style and it will be fascinating to see how rivals respond.
    Pros
    • Gorgeous design
    • Impressive black levels
    • Dolby Atmos and HDR10+ support
    Cons
    • No Dolby Vision
