cameralabs[1]

Reviewer score 85%
Reviewers from cameralabs have found the following***:
The GFX100 is the first medium format system to capture 4k video using the full sensor width without cropping. Like the X-series, you can also choose between 17:9 DCI or 16:9 aspect ratios. As a Fujifilm camera, you have the full-array of Film Simulations at your disposal including Eterna for slightly muted but attractive video footage.

Pros
  • Fantastic 4k video
  • Excellent autofocus
  • Excellent viewfinder
Cons
  • Lackluster rear controls
  • No HDMI port

digitaltrends[2]

Reviewer score 81%
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found the following***:
The GFX 100 uses line skipping and pixel binning to reduce those 102 megapixels down to the roughly eight that are needed for 4K. It also suffers from rolling shutter. For most photographers, a full-frame camera is still the way to go. Even for professionals, the Sony A7R IV will get you close to the GFX's resolution for just $3,500.

Pros
  • Incredible image quality
  • High-resolution sensor
  • Compact, lightweight design
Cons
  • Lacks autofocus
  • No weather-detection

pcmag[3]

Reviewer score 78%
Reviewers from pcmag have found the following***:
The GFX100 is a much more capable video camera than any medium format model has the right to be. There are a wealth of recording options, but quality tops out at 4K (in DCI or UHD) at up to 30fps with 10-bit 4:2:0 sampling. The controls buttons are a little mushy and the focus sticks a little too small.

Pros
  • Superb stabilization and autofocus
  • High-resolution full-frame sensor
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lack of manual controls
