Fujifilm GF 20-35mm F4 R WR is an ultra wide-angle zoom lens for Fujifilm G-mount. It covers the medium format image circle. Introduced by Fujifilm in 2022, it has 14 elements in 10 groups.
The widest lens for the G-mount, prime or otherwise, the GF 20-35mm F4 offers superb perspective that makes the GFX platform even more interesting for landscape and architecture photographers.
Photographers will be pleased by the fact that the lens is internally-zooming, meaning that the barrel does not extend when the focal length is changed. This helps balance and weather sealing; it is also great for long-term durability, as there is less chance for moisture and dirt to get in. For incremental weathers, Fujifilm is kind enough to include weather sealing. On the lens barrel, one can find a physical aperture ring. Those who wish to focus manually can have the best of both worlds (with the usual caveats).
As an ultra wide-angle lens, this zoom can offer a unique perspective that many will appreciate. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
