Product Overview

Audi A5 F5 facelift is a compact executive coupe in production from 2019. It is available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift, the main difference is the compliance to Euro 6d emission standard and the introduction of mild-hybrid forms of most of the car's engines.
Audi has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Audi A5 F5 comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 45% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The second-generation of Audi’s executive coupé has been given a facelift for 2020. The exterior designers have been sparing in their efforts, with only the likes of a slightly restyled grille differentiating the updated version from its predecessor. The interior has been updated to bring it into line with its more modern sibling models, including the latest version of Audi's infotainment system.
Pros
  • Punchy engine
  • Decent infotainment system
Cons
  • Not the most engaging to drive
  • Slightly restyled grille

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The Audi A5 is essentially a coupe version of the A4 four-door saloon. The original two-door A5 Coupe was launched in 2007, and remained on sale for nine years. It was joined by the A5 Cabriolet in 2009, while the five-door Sportback also arrived in the same year. A minor facelift in 2019 brought mildly tweaked headlamps and a refreshed grille. There are four trim levels to choose from: Sport, S line, Black Edition and Vorsprung.
Pros
  • Powerful engines
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent infotainment
Cons
  • Lack of standard equipment
