Product Overview

Citroen C3 III facelift is an affordable subcompact hatchback in production from 2020. It is available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 1.5 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift, the facelifted C3 III is much uglier. The added black plastic further cheapens the design. At the same time, it has horridly more complex engines that are likely to fail in no time.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality. Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 300L (11cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 46%
Reviewers from autocar have found the following***:
Citroën’s supermini fails to make good on the connotations of modernity and refinement exuded by the car's styling. The 1.2-litre engine pulls nicely up to 70mph and, once there, fades unobtrusively into the background, returning a pleasing - if not awe-inspiring - mid-40s MPG read-out if you’re sensible. The C3 goes some way to compensating for its failings with impressive levels of comfort and refinement, but can be found in slightly bigger cars.

The Citroen C3 is a solid choice for buyers wanting a funky-looking small car at a good price. It's going up against the likes of the Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa and Volkswagen Polo. Other rivals include the closely related Hyundai i20 and Kia Rio, along with the Skoda Fabia and SEAT Ibiza.

Make sure you get the newest of the new Citroen C3s to benefit from the latest, most efficient engines. But buy it wisely and you could get a great supermini at a bargain price. We like its focus on comfort, its quirky styling, and there's decent space on offer, too.

Reviewers from autoexpress have found the following***:
Further updates to the recently facelifted C3 have improved its efficiency. The PureTech 110 engine is punchy too, packing plenty of personality. The rest of the updated model's improvements still stand, and the result is that it's a comfortable, practical and affordable supermini that comes with some useful tech.
