Product Overview

Audi A3 (Typ 8Y) Sedan is an affordable subcompact sedan in production from 2020. It is available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.0 to 2.0 liters.
Unfortunately, just like every subcompact / compact sedan based on a hatchback, the A3 Sedan has awkward proportions. Compared to its predecessor, the engines have shrunk further in size, while complexity grew. This makes for a perfect recipe for low reliability in the long term.
Audi has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.25 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
