Product Overview

Audi R8 (Type 42) Spyder is a mid-size convertible sports car in production from 2010 to 2015. It was available with a range of V8 and V10 engines that displaced 4.2 to 5.2 liters. Both manual and DCT transmissions were offered, and AWD came standard.
Compared to the R8 Coupe, the Spyder offers more excitement with the top down. It is especially enjoyable with the V10 engine and manual transmission. The car doesn't look all that great with the top up, though the soft top is merely intended as an umbrella for incremental weather.
