Product Overview

Citroen DS4 (chassis code NX) is an affordable subcompact hatchback in production from 2011 to 2015, whereupon it became just "DS 4". It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 2.0 liters.
While Citroen made a big fuss about the supposedly "premium" DS marque, the vehicle is just a Citroen C4 with a slightly revised styling; another vehicle that it is related to is the Peugeot 308.
On the plus side, Citroen did make sure that the DS4 received relatively more powerful engines. However, it still has no independent rear suspension, which is absolutely disqualifying for any "premium" brand.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
