On the lens barrel of the X-mount version, one can find a physical aperture ring. Those who wish to focus manually can have the best of both worlds (with the usual caveats).
The 1x magnification opens up a lot of opportunity for macro shots. A telephoto prime lens, the Touit 50mm F2.8 is well suited for portrait photography, too. One glaring omission for this focal length is the lack of image stabilization, which would be quite valuable for macro shots.
