Product Overview

Samyang MF 14mm F2.8 MK2 is an affordable manual-focus lens available for several popular DSLR and mirrorless systems. An ultra-wide angle prime lens, it covers the full-frame image circle but is sold also to APS-C and MFT users.
While the MF 14mm F2.8 MK2 appears to have some resemblance to the AF 14mm F2.8 released by Samyang a few months apart, it has a different optical design: This is understandable, as autofocus lenses need to accommodate for AF elements differently.
To be able to support all the different lens mounts, Samyang has abandoned electronic contacts, making this a pure mechanical lens. It is weather sealed for all but F-mount.
Two unique redeeming features of this lens are the focus lock and the de-clickable aperture ring. They reflect Samyang's dedication to videographers.
Another lens with this new design language is Samyang's new MF 85mm F1.4 MK2.
