Product Overview
The 2021 Lenovo Legion 5i 17" gaming laptop is powered by 11th-gen Intel Core i7 Tiger Lake CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics up to RTX 3070. It shares the same design and dimensions with the 2020 model.
Compared to the new 15.6-inch Legion 5i, the 17-inch model differs only in its display. This includes the new Nahimic 3D Audio by SteelSeries, which improves upon the previous Harmon speakers for a more engaging listening experience as well as the combination of two Thunderbolt 4, four USB 3.2 Gen1 port, and full-size HDMI 2.1.
Like the 2020 model, the new Legion 5 17" is fronted with a FHD IPS display, which can be optioned with either a 60Hz or a 144Hz panel with 72% coverage of the NTSC color space. The display also supports Dolby Vision.
Alongside the Legion 5i Pro, Lenovo also refreshed the 15.6" Legion 5i as well as 16" 5i PRO and 7i to join their AMD-powered sister models unveiled at CES.
