ASUS ProArt PA32UC is a 32-inch 4K professional monitor with Mini-LED backlighting that provides 384-zone local dimming. Based on the PA32UCG with which it shares the design, the PA32UC offers similar performance at a lower price point.
Compared to the flagship, the PA32UC drops the quantum dot technology and corresponding ultra-wide color gamut, even though it offers 99.5% Adobe RGB and 95% DCI-P3 coverage. It also has a lower maximum refresh rate and brightness compared to the flagship.
On balance, the ProArt PA32UC is a compelling option for photo and video editing, though it may not be ideal for high-framerate gaming and animation works. True to this positioning, the PA32UC also comes with more HDMI and USB ports for normal productivity tasks, perhaps in multi-display setups.
The PA32UC is also available with a X-rite i1 Display Pro colorimeter as PA32UC-K.
