Product Overview

Panasonic HZ980 4K OLED smart TV is the entry-level option that shares key features of Panasonic's 2020 OLED lineup, including Dolby Vision IQ and Filmmaker Mode with Intelligent Sensing, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDR10+ support, and HCX PRO Intelligent Processor.
Available in 55 and 65 inches, the HZ980 series support a broad set of HDR standards. The Filmmaker Mode allows users to enjoy cinematic video as it was intended by creators. It respects the frame rate, aspect ratio, color, and contrast of the content while disabling noise reduction and sharpening.
New in 2020, Panasonic's OLED smart TVs also support Dolby Vision IQ. Using Dolby Vision dynamic metadata, this feature displays every detail of the content and adjusts to the brightness of the room. It also modifies the TV's settings to ensure optimal image quality.
For more feature-rich options, Panasonic also markets the HZ1000, HZ1500, and HZ2000 series 4K OLED TVs.
