Product Overview
Odyssey G7 is the world's first 1000R-curved gaming monitor series. The 27-inch C27G75T features the same QLED full-array LED backlighting and 240Hz refresh rate found in the flagship Odyssey G9, though in a more traditional 16:9 aspect ratio.
The Odyssey G7 C27G75T offers high dynamic range, high refresh rate, low input lag, and G-SYNC / FreeSync compatibility. It has also been certified by TÜV Rheinland with an 'Eye Comfort' certificate.
Samsung has also introduced a special Faker Edition Odyssey G7 C27G77T in select markets: For $50 more, you receive a range of extra accessories.
For a more basic 1000R gaming monitor, Samsung also offers the Odyssey G5 in 27-inch and 32-inch variants. The Odyssey G7 also comes in a 32-inch model.

digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)The 32-inch Samsung Odyssey G7 is an excellent gaming monitor with a curve that pulls you into games like no other display does. The G-Sync flicker issue, though, is a difficult flaw to overlook. Samsung should take responsibility for this problem and either come out with a fix, issue a recall, or remove the G- Sync certification and reduce the price.
Pros
- Fast 240Hz refresh rate
- V-Sync enabled
- Great color reproduction
Cons
- G-Sync flicker issues
- No G-Sync support
techadvisor[2]
Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung Odyssey G7 C32G75T is a significant upgrade in image quality and user experience. It has a massive colour gamut that this panel can offer, where DCI-P3 was represented by 95%. It is both FreeSync and G-Sync capable, allowing for fluid frame rates up to the maximum 240Hz. As it has a 10-bit panel with Quantum Dot, it can produce much better colour representation, if configured correctly.
Pros
- Excellent colour gamut
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent software menu system
Cons
- No sRGB mode
- Limited adjustment controls
techradar[3]
Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung Odyssey G7 is one of the best gaming monitors in its class. It has a 1000R screen that has a tight enough curve to make Beyonce envious. You're also getting adaptive sync support and compatibility for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync. The HDR support isn't as good as you'd find on a Samsung TV, but it does noticeably well with effective selective dimming.
Pros
- Fantastic 240Hz refresh rate
- Great value for money
Cons
- Slightly awkward to assemble
- No RGB lighting
trustedreviews[4]
Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Samsung Odyssey G7 is one of the first screens to emerge from the firm’s revitalised gaming brand. It has a 32in-diagonal screen with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a curve – and, the curve uses an innovative 1000R radius. It works with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync at 240Hz, which means esports games and fast-paced single-player titles run smoothly at incredible frame rates. The G7 has two USB 3.0 ports alongside two DisplayPort connectors and an HDMI input.
Pros
- Gorgeous design
- Excellent gaming performance
- Excellent build quality
Cons
- No speakers
