- Ingenious MBC hydraulic suspension
- Rather good styling (rare for Infiniti of the era)
- Powerful VK45DE 4.5L V8
- Powerful and reliable NA V6 and V8 engines
- Fantastic styling
- Good 0.26 drag coefficient
- Double-wishbone + multi-link suspension setup
- RWD as standard (though lots of AWD nonsense was sold)
Cons
- S63 AMG became AWD only
- Downsized drivetrain with high turbo boost
- Somewhat over-styled yet still generic
- Too many electronics
- MacPherson strut front suspension
- Confusing model names
- Getting dirty with diesel and hybrid
