Product Overview

Infiniti M-Series Mark IV (chassis code Y51) is an executive sedan in production from 2010 to 2019. It was renamed Q70 in 2013 from the 2014 model year. In Japan, the vehicle was sold as Nissan Fuga for the SWB model and Cima for the LWB one. The Gen4 M-Series was available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 2.5 to 5.6 liters.
With this generation, Infiniti greatly improved the vehicle's styling. Combined with a compelling range of engine options, this executive sedan was highly competitive compared to the contemporary L10 Lexus GS, arguably slotting between the GS and the LS.
Notably, the VK56VD 5.6L naturally-aspirated engine found in the M56 was one of the last large-displacement NA V8s available from non-American automakers.
The M37 and M56 models were also available in AWD guise, though Infiniti made sure that RWD remains the standard.
Infiniti has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Q70 / M-Series Mark IV comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. Combined with RWD, this setup provides one of the best handling characteristics and tuning capabilities.
