Product Overview

Ford C-MAX Mk2 is an affordable subcompact minivan in production from 2010 to 2018. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.0 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Mk1 C-MAX, the Mk2 is just an evolution. It has basic mechanical setup, though its engines are reasonably reliable.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.

External Reviews

autoexpress[1]

Reviewer score 64% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The Ford C-MAX is one of the best MPV's on the market. It's not as stylish as a Citroen C4 Picasso, or as spacious, but it is affordable to run and offers enough space inside for any growing family. If you need something bigger, you can always turn to the seven-seat Grand C- MAX instead. With the popularity of SUVs, sales in the MPV sector aren't what they used to be.
Pros
  • Affordable to run
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Lack of practicality
  • Alternatives are more fun to drive
