Product Overview

Skoda Superb B8 Combi (Typ 3V) facelift is a mid-size station wagon in production from 2019. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the facelifted Superb Combi has higher power output but is hardly changed otherwise.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality. Utility-minded owners will love the 2081L (73cu-ft) cargo space.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Skoda Superb III Combi uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
Sportline Plus comes with bigger 19in wheels and a tasteful bodykit. It also drops the ride height by 15mm, which rang alarm bells to a tester hoping it would retain the cosseting, long-legged gait of lesser Superbs. Adaptive dampers mean this car is still wholly smooth, relaxing and refined, feeling thoroughly at home traversing hundreds of miles on Britain’s arterial routes.
Pros
  • Sleek exterior styling
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent infotainment tech
Cons
  • Lack of subtlety in 'D' mode

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The Superb mixes petrol and electric drive in a plug-in hybrid system. The petrol-fuelled element comes in the shape of a 1.4-litre four-cylinder turbo. It's paired up with a 113bhp electric motor and 13kWh battery. Charging takes place via a port hidden neatly behind the grille.
Pros
  • Powerful petrol engine
  • Superb cabin space
Cons
  • Pricier than rivals
