Product Overview

Peugeot 308 SW Mk3 (chassis code P5) is an affordable compact station wagon in production from 2021. It is available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 1.6 liters.
Compared to the Mk2 308 SW, the Mk3 has a more stylish design, even though its mechanical underpinnings remain largely the same. The one main difference is the introduction of a PHEV drivetrain for the woke.
Peugeot has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.

Reviewers from autocar have found:
Stretching the car by 269mm has allowed Peugeot to increase the rear load bed to 1026mm. It’s competitive with the estate versions of the Volkswagen Golf and Skoda Octavia. As with the hatch, the 508 SW is offered with petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
Pros
  • Stylish looks
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Alternatives are more practical
  • Interior feels a little cheap

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The new Peugeot 308 is the latest in a series of 3-0 models that has had its ups and downs. Out of those two, it's much more closely aligned with the Octavia. The 308 has not only the most stylish, but also the best finished interior of any in the class. Both are available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The top spec GT Premium PHEV costs £40,000.
Pros
  • Powerful petrol engine
  • Excellent cabin
Cons
  • Lack of rear passenger space
