Product Overview

Toyota Corolla Hatchback Mk12 (chassis code E210) / Auris Mk3 is an affordable compact hatchback in production from 2018. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Mk11 Corolla, the Mk12 Hatchback has a simpler, more elegant styling that is nonetheless modern. While in the past Corollas had comparatively small engines, as other manufacturers rushed to downsize, this generation of Corolla actually has relatively large engines for its class.
Taking into consideration the long-term reliability of quality of Toyota vehicles, it is the car to get in this segment.
Another advantage is the use of independent rear suspensions, which one cannot find in any Euro car of this size.

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from autocar have found:
The Corolla replaces the Auris, which was about as uninspiring a car in the class as you could imagine. The drivetrain in this Corolla is identical to that of the Prius, mixing a 1.8-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine with Toyota’s e-CVT hybrid transmission and running gear. The system puts out 120bhp, and offers up to 65mpg on the new WLTP combined cycle and 83g/km CO2 emissions.
    Pros
    • Class-leading performance
    • Comfortable to drive
    • Decent handling
    Cons
    • Hybrid powertrain isn’t the best
    • No manual gearbox

    Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
, nor do they want a small pothole to feel like slipping and landing straight on your bum on an ice rink. Fuel economy is excellent, as well. Toyota's warranty isn't the greatest on the market, but the Japanese automaker's reputation for building vehicles that work day in and day out after years of abuse is. With more standard features for a reasonable price, the XSE trim is the one we'd have.
    Pros
    • Sleek interior
    • Excellent fuel economy
    • Comfortable ride
    Cons
    • Lack of standard safety features
