Product Overview

Skoda Fabia Mk4 is an entry-level subcompact hatchback in production from 2021. It is available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.0 to 1.5 liters.
Compared to the Mk3 Fabia, the Mk4 uses further-downsized engines. While it may appear better-looking, the car remains poorly-engineered and poorly-built; further, it remains ugly.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 60% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
This is an unusually spacious car by the standards of the segment. The front berths feel expansive, and with plenty of adjustability in the driving position, the Fabia genuinely feels like something from the class above. The back bench remains supermini spec, albeit with more leg and head room than most. The 109bhp 1.0-litre TSI engine is less convincing.
Pros
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Lots of standard equipment
  • Decent infotainment system
Cons
  • Not the most practical

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The new Fabia sees significant gains in infotainment, driver-assistance tech and, perhaps importantly for its customer base, space and practicality. The car is 111mm longer than the old model, with 94mm more in the wheelbase, and it's a bit wider, too. Upmarket touches such as an optional glass panoramic roof make the cabin light and airy. While the handling is hardly sporty, everything tallies up to create a car that feels better.
Pros
  • Bigger, more spacious cabin
  • Improved infotainment tech
Cons
  • Lack of refinement
