Product Overview

Mazda 3 Mk4 (chassis code BP) Hatchback is an affordable compact hatchback in production from 2019. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.5 to 2.5 liters.
The most interesting aspect of the Mazda 3 is the new Skyactiv-X compression-ignition petrol engine, which promises diesel-like efficiency.
Otherwise, the car has a normal-ish styling with a weak suspension setup.

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The exterior looks stylish and the interior has a premium feel. The way the 3 goes down a road feels much more grown up. Key to this behaviour is a new, stiffer platform, that has a longer wheelbase and wider front and rear track. It uses torsion beam rear suspension, MacPherson struts and rack-and-pinion steering.
Pros
  • Powerful petrol engine
  • Comfortable ride
  • Good fuel efficiency
Cons
  • Over-the-shoulder visibility
