Product Overview

Skoda Superb Mk3 B8 (Type 3V) facelift is a mid-size sedan in production from 2019. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, this facelift introduced some electronic gizmos as well as minor cosmetic updates. New is the PHEV variant.
Skoda has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it. Utility-minded owners will love the 2067L (73cu-ft) cargo space.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Skoda Superb uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 50% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The Superb iV's main dynamic qualities are its comfort, efficiency and ease of use – it's quite striking how "normal" the iV feels to use and to operate. Urban speeds are mostly taken care of under electric power, where responsiveness is good but not particularly notable. Ride comfort is generally good, thanks to a compliance-oriented suspension tune that makes the car absorbent of bigger inputs.
Pros
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent fuel economy
Cons
  • Expensive for what it offers
  • Not the most fun to drive

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The Superb iV has an official electric range of 34 miles. The Superb is both sensationally refined and supremely comfortable. The £475 Virtual Cockpit is a must-have feature. The rear parking camera is a worthwhile £385. The only extra is the 19-inch 19-section tyres.
Pros
  • Superb electric range
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
Cons
  • No rear windscreen wiper
