Product Overview

Porsche 911 991.1 Targa is a mid-size targa sports car in production from 2014 to 2015, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of flat-6 engines that displaced 3.4 to 3.8 liters.
Compared to the 996 and 997 Targas, the 991 Targa finally returned to the old targa formula that was originally made popular by Porsche: with a removable top, this time mechanically so. While it still doesn't provide the open-top driving experience of a cabriolet, this is a more elegant solution than before.
Porsche has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 285L (10cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Porsche 911 uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance. Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.
