Product Overview

Porsche 911 997.2 Targa is the facelift version of the 997 Targa mid-size targa sports car in production from 2008 to 2013. It was available with a range of flat-6 engines that displaced 3.6 to 3.8 liters.
Compared to the 997.1 Targa, the most obvious change is the rollout of PDK double clutch transmissions that replaced the horrible ZF 5HP automatic. Otherwise, Porsche did small tweaks to the engines to squeeze out nominally more power.
The downsides of this (and the 996) generation of Targas remained.
