Product Overview

Lotus Elise Series 2 is a subcompact targa sports car in production from 2000 to 2010. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.8 liters.
Debuted with a tune of the same engine that powered the Series 1 Elise, the Elise Series 2 is slightly heavier and more powerful. Lotus introduced the more powerful 111S and 111R as time went on. This is also the generation when Lotus moved to Toyota for its engines. Eventually, a supercharged Elise SC was made available in 2008 in select markets.
Compared to the original Elise, much of the same characteristics were kept.
