Audi TTS (Type 8J) is a compact coupe based on the Audi TT in production from 2008 to 2014. It was powered by a single turbocharged inline-4 engine that displaced 2.0 liters. AWD is standard, while both manual and DCT transmissions were available.
Compared to the base Audi TT, the TTS has more aggressive styling and a more potent 2.0 TFSI engine. Otherwise, it is roughly the same car. Indeed, the VR6-powered TT may be more interesting to many.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Audi TTS Coupe uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
