Product Overview

Renault Koleos (chassis code HY) is a compact crossover in production from 2008 to 2016. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 to 2.5 liters.
On the plus side, the vehicle has relatively powerful engine options and not a lot of duds. The crossover also comes with independent rear suspensions, which is rare for a French car. However, Renault used CVT. It also marketed the vehicle as an "SUV", which is disingenuous.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Renault Koleos is hardly the "offroader" that Renault would like you to think.
The vehicle was also sold as Renault Samsung QM5 in South Korea.
