Product Overview

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer F45 LCI is a compact minivan in production from 2018 to 2021. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.5 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift F45, the facelifted 2 Series Active Tourer has hardly changed styling-wise, though BMW had to comply with more stringent emission standards that added to the complexity of the drivetrain.
The plug-in hybrid drivetrain can help the owner save on fuel and car tax, though those who plan on keeping the car after warranty should be mindful of the complexity.
BMW has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.

Infotainment is taken care of by the latest generation of BMW's iDrive system.
