Product Overview

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer (chassis code F45) is a compact minivan in production from 2014 to 2018, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.5 to 2.0 liters.
Unfortunately, the Active tourer is rather ugly, though it does provide abundant interior space for a vehicle of its size.
The plug-in hybrid drivetrain can help the owner save on fuel and car tax, though those who plan on keeping the car after warranty should be mindful of the complexity.
BMW has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
