Product Overview

Fiat Bravo (Type 198) is an affordable compact hatchback in production from 2007 to 2014. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
One of the more elegant hatchbacks on the market, the Bravo is equipped with a range of reasonably-powered engines. Like many Italian cars, the 198 Bravo has rather good handling characteristics, even though it has semi-independent rear suspensions.
Another plus is the small 10.4m (34.1ft) turning circle.

Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
Fiat is in the midst of a resurgence, what with the very pleasant Grande Punto, the cheery Panda and the soon-to-be-a-legend 500 winning fans all over. We'd love to say yes, but... It's just not quite there, which is a real shame because there's a lot to like about the Bravo. If you buy a Focus or a Golf you'll have more fun behind the wheel.
Pros
  • Powerful turbocharged T-Jet engine
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Not quite as good as the old Stilo
  • Slightly fidgety ride
