Product Overview

Fiat 500 is an affordable subcompact hatchback in production from 2007 to 2015, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-2 and inline-4 engines that displaced 0.9 to 1.4 liters.
Interestingly, Fiat decided to introduce a 2-cylinder engine in its revived 500, making it one of the only car on the market to be so equipped. Unsurprisingly, the car has a basic chassis and suspension setup and is not meant for high speeds or long distances.
As a tiny city car, one plus is the 500's small 9.2m (30.2ft) turning circle.

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The Fiat 500 TwinAir is a highly efficient, low-friction, lightweight 875cc petrol engine with two cylinders and a turbocharger. There's 85bhp to play with and 107lb ft of torque from just 1900rpm, so when you're buzzing around in town you never find a lack of urge. The car is a function of its gearbox – a five-speed manual with highly specific ratios.
Pros
  • Powerful engine
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent fuel economy
Cons
  • No EV trickery
  • Lack of legroom
