Product Overview
Renault Modus is an affordable subcompact minivan in production from 2004 to 2012. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.1 to 1.6 liters.
Essentially a more compact alternative to the Renault Scenic, the Modus is rather awkward-looking. It preserves a good headroom but shrinks the vehicle in all other dimensions. This left us with an ugly car with disastrous handling characteristics and poor ride comfort.
The Renault Modus is limited to inline-4, which is rather underpowered but which is what most have to live with today, thanks to regulations.
