Product Overview

Chevrolet Volt Mk1 is an affordable compact hatchback in production from 2011 to 2015. As one of the first plug-in hybrid vehicles, the Volt uses a tiny 84hp I4 engine paired to tiny AC electric motors.
The plug-in hybrid drivetrain can help the owner save on fuel and car tax, though those who plan on keeping the car after warranty should be mindful of the complexity.
Chevrolet has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 300L (11cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.
