Product Overview

Chevrolet Cruze (chassis code J300) Hatchback is an affordable mid-size hatchback in production from 2009 to 2016. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Targeting primarily the European market, where hatchbacks have always been a favorite among budget-sensitive consumers, the Mk1 Cruze hatchback is rather basic and uninspiring. What it has is relative simplicity and reliability compared to some of the less reliable European brands.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
