Product Overview

BMW 1 Series F21 LCI 3-door is a compact hatchback in production from 2015 to 2019. It was available with a range of inline-3, inline-4, and inline-6 engines that displaced 1.5 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift F21, the LCI model received some cosmetic updates to bring it in line with BMW's newer "corporate design language". During the first year of the production run of the F21 LCI, BMW gradually discontinued the horrible engines. By 2016, the newer, much more reliable engine lineup came on stage.
Headlining it is the B58 found in the M140i. This engine is co-developed with Toyota and meant for the new Supra. Even though the M140i is not an M car, it represents the pinnacle of BMW in RWD guise with manual transmission.
BMW has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it.
