Product Overview

Volvo V40 is a compact hatchback in production from 2012 to 2019. It was available with a range of inline-4 and inline-5 engines that displaced 1.5 to 2.5 liters. The V40 hatchback is no to be confused with the V40 station wagon that Volvo produced a decade earlier.
Like many Volvos of this era, the V40 was available with the Swedish automaker's iconic inline-5 engine. Engines from PSA and Ford were also used. The V40 was available with a rather good 6-speed manual transmission or excellent automatic transmissions from Aisin.
