Product Overview

Citroen C4 Cactus is an affordable subcompact crossover in production from 2014 to 2017, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 1.6 liters.
Despite its model name, the C4 Cactus is based on PSA's PF1 platform, meaning that it really is a jacked-up Citroen C3 / Peugeot 208. It was a level below the C4.
Still, with the copious amount of extra plastic thrown on and definitively uglified styling, the C4 Cactus apparently warrants a price hike, and many fell for it.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.

carmagazine[1]

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The C4 Cactus was inspired by 2007's Citroen C-Cactus concept car. There's loads of room up front, especially as the front passenger airbag has been relocated to the roof, making way for a cavernous front glovebox. In the back, there's a rear bench – with no split-fold, although it does fold flat to expand the 358-litre boot to a useful 1170 litres.
Pros
  • Stylish looks
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Decent infotainment tech
Cons
  • Lack of automatic gearboxes
  • Limited driving position
