Product Overview

Hyundai i30 III Estate (chassis code PD) is an affordable compact station wagon in production from 2017. It is available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.0 to 1.6 liters.
Drivetrain-wise, the Mk3 model uses an evolution of roughly the same engines, with correspondingly higher outputs, and the same transmissions were kept. Unfortunately, Hyundai arguably over-styled the vehicle, making the new i30 Estate less elegant. Time will tell whether this design can age well.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
