Product Overview

Renault Talisman Grandtour is a large station wagon in production from 2016 to 2022. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.3 to 2.0 liters.
With this vehicle, Renault made sure that it comes with an imposing styling that fools one to think that it is a better car than it actually is. Unfortunately, Renault forgot to put independent suspensions in the rear, and the engine lineup is weak, though in typical French fashion easy to work on.
The car has the so-called "4 Control" option, which almost leads one to think it would be an AWD model; in reality, it is a four-wheel steering system that helps one navigate the tiny roads in some old French towns.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
