Product Overview

Opel Insignia A Sports Tourer (chassis code G09) facelift is a large station wagon in production from 2013 to 2018. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.8 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, there were some minor styling changes. However, the powertrain received a refresh, with some engines receiving up-ratings.
Otherwise, the Insignia Sports Tourer remains a very handsome and elegant wagon that is perhaps not the best in terms of driving dynamics.
Opel has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.27 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
The Insignia was also sold as Vauxhall Insignia, Holden Insignia, Buick Regal, and Chevrolet Vectra.
