Product Overview

Volkswagen Passat B8 Variant (Typ 3G) is a mid-size station wagon in production from 2014 to 2019, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Unfortunately, the VR6 engine was discontinued for the B8 generation. VW also continued to cheapen out on chassis and suspension (understandably so). The engine lineup received a further round of downsizing.
Styling-wise, the B8 could be said to be a small revolution, as its more angular lines are a departure from the B6/B7 generations.
