Product Overview

Audi RS 4 Avant B7 (Typ 8E) is a high-performance compact executive station wagon in production from 2006 to 2009. It was available with a single naturally-aspirated V8 engine that displaced 4.2 liters.
This generation of RS 4 Avant again used Audi's proven "RS formula", though in wagon form the vehicle may appear a bit too timid. Fortunately, the B7 RS 4 Avant features a 4.2L V8 engine, though it was one of Audi's infamous 4.2L FSI variants that had some durability issues.
This was the last time that manual transmission was found in an RS-badged Audi vehicle.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the B7 RS 4 Avant comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
