Product Overview
Audi RS 4 Avant B5 (Typ 8D) is a high-performance compact executive station wagon in production from 1999 to 2001. It was available with a single bi-turbocharged V6 engine that displaced 2.7 liters.
The spiritual successor to the Audi RS 2, the B5 RS 4 builds on the designs of the B5 A6 Avant and elevated its output. The result is arguably the most beautiful station wagon in the B5 generation.
A much-appreciated fact is that the B5 RS 4 Avant also features a 6-speed manual transmission, which greatly improved the level of engagement for the driver.
Like other higher-end Audis of the time, the B5 RS 4 Avant used multi-link suspensions at the front and double-wishbone at the rear.
